![]() ![]() Improved Energy Resistance or Force Immunity (Improved Energy resistance makes you nearly invincible to everyone except Dark Jedis. There are belts or headgear for these as well. You want an implant for Immunity: Mind Affecting and Immunity: Critical Hits. Implant Level 2 (you won’t need level 3). It also can work well as a follow up to Critical Strike when your opponent is stunned because of the extra sneak attack damage. To sum up: Strength + Jump + Critical Strike + Sneak Attack + Baragwin Assault Blade all work together in a circle of annihilation.įlurry will get you through the earlier game, until you have the levels and weapons to make Critical Strike work well, or when you’re facing groups of opponents where you can get hit in the back and the -5 defense becomes an issue (i.e., the Kath Hounds on Dantooine). When using speed + two weapon fighting you get 4 attacks per round (5 with flurry) but your off-hand will only be used for ONE of those attacks. You need to have a lightsaber armed in order deflect blaster bolts and to use Force Jump Off Hand: Lightsaber upgraded as you see fit (can be keen for better critical strike, or could use crystals for extra blaster bolt deflection, force point regeneration, etc). To make a ”Keen” saber you have to sacrifice using damage and attack bonus crystals, but the Assault Blade has crazy damage, attack, AND Critical Threat range. It’s also more effective than a lightsaber against enemies using energy shields. With 17-20 threat (9-20 With Master Critical Strike) and huge damage/attack bonuses I think outdamages anything else when using Critical Strike. Main Hand: Fully upgraded Baragwin Assault Blade. The higher your strength, the better your chance of stunning and therefore the better the chance that you get that sneak attack bonus applied to every strike in your next two attacks. When you land a Critical Hit the chance to stun your opponent is determined by your strength modifier. If you have +2 (14) Strength you’ll get +4 Damage, but if you have +10 (30) you’ll get +20 from your strength modifier. When you use Critical Strike high Strength is Essential because (a) you have to land the Hit first before you can get a Chance to Critical, and (b) since a Critical Hit doubles your damage it scales exponentially with your strength. STR 18 + 5 = 23 (other stats however you like, but I went with DEX 8, CON 14, INT 8, WIS 10 and CHA 14) Scoundrels have a lot of Class Skills (class skills only cost one skill point while “cross-class” skills cost 2), including Persuade, which is what I dumped most of my points into. Taking 7 levels of Scoundrel gives you a chance to boost a lot of skills if you so choose, since once becoming a guardian you only get 1 point per level up. Sneak Attack IV which adds (I think) 10-24 bonus damage when enemies are stunned, attacked from behind, and every time you use.įorce Jump! So, with two weapons and force speed you get that sneak attack damage added to 4 attacks every time you use force jump.ġ00% Light Side Guardians get +3 Strength (see below) ![]() Improved Scoundrel’s Luck, adding a +4 to defense, essentially eliminating the -5 penalty that comes with Critical Strike, Now, I’m not going to do the math, but I’d wager 750 credits that by late game it can do more damage than any other line of attack feats-IF you’ve optimized your build for it.
